Making design a bit more human
After 3 years of intense studying at Central Saint Martins one start to count down the days until you get that design insight. Who am I ? What am I good at and which part of the world do I want to save? This website is more a self help site playing with the thought that design is for humans and that we can really make an impact. I think I can make an impact, so here I go...
Amanda Ames has a Bachalor Degree in Product Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. A Part time Product Design degree from School of Design, Kalmar, Sweden. Foundation degree in furniture design at Nyckelviksskolan, Stockholm, Sweden. On the side Amanda is Station Manager at University of the Arts Student Radio, "SixArts" were she is hosting collaborations with the Student Union as well as interviewing creative people in the field.
Summer 2011 Amanda was invited to be the Creative Director as well as Head Designer to set up the Beijing Design Centre, Liang Dian Design Center.
